Content Vault exists because Shopify's native checkout is the best on the internet for digital products — but its subscription tooling wasn't built for files, drips, library access, or content passes. We built the app we wished existed when we tried to launch our own digital catalog on Shopify.
What we believe.
Native Shopify checkout converts better than any custom flow we've seen. Custom storefronts, customer portals, and bolt-on payment providers add friction and cost — and don't actually solve the problem most digital merchants have, which is content delivery.
So Content Vault stays out of checkout entirely. Customers buy through the storefront they already trust. We focus on what happens after the order — drip schedules, library access, content passes, watermarking, streaming, and the analytics merchants actually need to grow.
We think a few hundred good Shopify merchants beats ten thousand generic users. So we ship the smallest tool that solves the biggest problem, and we listen to the merchants who actually ship product on it.
The team
Who's behind Content Vault.
Content Vault is built and run by a small team of engineers and operators who have shipped digital products on Shopify, watched subscriptions break in production, and decided to build the infrastructure they wished existed.
We answer support tickets ourselves, ship code ourselves, and talk to merchants directly when something breaks. There's no support tier — every customer talks to someone who actually works on the product.
